How the James Jacoppi Memorial Scholarship was established.

In May of 2002 James Jacoppi passed away suddenly as the result of a viral heart infection at the age of 26. Jim was in his graduating semester at Middlesex Community College. While attending college to earn his computer technology degree Jim also managed the family business. He enjoyed mountain biking, camping, canoeing, tennis and swimming but most important to him was being with his friends and family. Everyone thought of him as a caring, generous and loving person. He was the kind of boy that would do anything for anyone. In hopes of turning a tragedy into something positive the Jacoppi Family founded the James Jacoppi Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Through the generosity of family, friends and local businesses we have been honored to have the ability to award these scholarships to deserving graduating students to further their education. With continued support from the community, the Jacoppi Family will strive to keep Jim's memory alive through the success of the James Jacoppi Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
